Where Procrastination Meets Apathy - I won't care tomorrow.

Well, I had my first day of class today. We're starting off on Diver Physics. Pretty much gas laws and pressure and hydrostatic stuff. Simple, really. Just math. I consider myself a fairly intelligent person and after seeing how many people were getting confused by the stuff Neil (the instructor) was saying I took that up a notch. It's fine, though, because unlike Russ and his law school, the encourage complete teamwork. Someone's behind, you help them.
DIT is, essentially and without any question I've heard so far, the best diver school in the country. However it really gives you an idea of what the field is like. No shiney glass-and-steel buildings with states of the art classrooms. Nope, this place looks like a dock, is a dock. It's actually reassuring. Here, take a look:
Pretty cool, eh? The classrooms aren't made for too many people. In fact, my class of 29 is considered enormous. Considering there's a new class every month that's understandable. However, for as big as our class is we had to cram ourselves somewhere else. The SCCC Maritime University, however, let us use on of their classrooms. Only a few blocks away and still cool:
That's right, it's a ship. Three classrooms on the upper deck. Maybe I'll get a shot of the interior tomorrow. Anyway, speaking of shots, I know I promised a few more and here they are. We have two shots of my room as I currently have it arranged and a wonderful picture of my car during the road trip. Funny shit.
And as an added bonus! Especially for you ZeFrank fans:
DUCKIES!
