Woke up in Vancouver to a wonderful Northwestern rain. Not too shabby except my dumb self forgot to pack a hoodie or any sort of rain-proof stuff. It's really not a huge deal, though, because it's not freezing so the rain is kinda nice after all the hot weather in Colorado.
I helped Gary set up the booth at the Humanist conference and then hopped a cab to the Amtrak station. Problem is that instead of a train I took a bus. We got helded up on the border with only one agent checking in bus load upon bus load of people. Weeee. On top of that I think that our bus driver was either crazy or has Tourette's as he would randomly talk to himself. It was weiiiird.
So I show up in Seattle, rather happy about that... except it took Enterprise over an hour and a half to come pick me up. Needless to say I didn't rent my car quick enough to head over to visit my friends Brandin and Niccy. Not a huge deal as I hung around downtown Seattle, took some pictures (should have a cable by tomorrow so I can upload some pictures), and then ended up at my Grandma's. She has an AMAZING apartment. I need to take pictures of this place. It's on the 29th floor of a building right smack in downtown Seattle. She has perfect views of the Sound, the Space Needle, Seattle as a whole... just fantastic. That is about it for Day 3 on me. I'll report more when I have more to report.
