Where Procrastination Meets Apathy - I won't care tomorrow.
Blurble
Ah, finally some light in the tunnel. Not quiet at the END of the tunnel, persay, but somewhere in it where it makes it a bit easier to see. Financial issues are still there but they're not as bad as they used to be. I should finally have my driver's license back by Wednesday and then I can experience the horror that is the current gas prices right along with everyone else. I know you were looking forward to that, misery does love company.
For those who don't know yet, I may be moving up to Seattle for a period of time of no less then thirty (30) weeks then, depending; either come back, stay there, or move somewhere else entirely. Why you may ask? Current plans of mine are to attend the Diver's Institute of Technology. This may seem like it was out of the blue for a lot of you but I've actually wanted to go there for many years. However, when I first considered it I was still in high school and my mom's worry of "it's too dangerous" still held ground. Now she thinks it's a good idea, I still think it's a good idea, and I have support for it. I love diving, I love building stuff, and I love working in groups so being a commercial diver seems like something I could really do for a career. On top of that, they make a nice chunk of money and the school has an 85% placement rate.
Nothing is final yet, though. I still need to take a very immense physical (four pages worth of poking and proding), apply, and hope I get accepted. Not to mention the small list of grants, loans, and scholorships I need to sign up for as the school isn't exactly cheap. It should be a friggin' blast, though! So, yeah, there's that.
As for comics, we've come up with a great story idea and stuff for the webcaomic so I should be updating more often. As for why no update this weekend... it's the weekend. I'll update on Monday if I get time to do at least one more of the comics tonight, which hopefully I will. That's about it. Stay cool.
